【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisbeingissuedasSection4oftheguideonmaintainabilityofequipment.Itspurposeisto:-provideguidancefortheearlyconsiderationoftestabilityaspectsindesignanddevelopment;NOTE-Thedesignofanitemshouldfacilitateandsupportdiagnostictesting,andthiscanbeachievedmostefficientlybyconsideringtestabilityaspectsasearlyaspossibleinthedesignprocess,usuallyinconjunctionwithafaultmodeandeffectsanalysis(FMEA).Iflefttilllaterprojectphases,whenthedesignhasbeenfinalized,onlyverylimitedtestabilityfeaturesmaybeadded.Thesewillbelesseffectiveandwillinvolvedisproportionatelyhighcosts.-assistindeterminingeffectivetestproceduresasanintegralpartofoperationandmaintenance.NOTE-Theoperationalandmaintenanceconceptwilldependtoacertainextentonthedesignphilosophy,andthereforetoensurethatfullusecanbemadeofthediagnostictestingpossibilities,testrequirementsshouldbeincludedintheoperationalandmaintenancepolicyandbedevelopedasanintegralpartofthedesignprocess.ThissectionofIEC706isapplicabletoallcategoriesofequipmentintheirconceptandprinciples,althoughmanyofthetechniquesdescribedareclearlymoreapplicabletotheelectricalandelectronicfields,asitisinthoseareaswherethereisthegreatestopportunityforthemtobeapplied.Formechanicalequipment,thetraditionaldiagnostictechniquescanstillbeused,butheretootheadvancesbeingmadeinelectronicmeasuringandmonitoringdevicesmeanthatmuchimproveddiagnostictestingfacilitiescannowbeappliedtomechanicalcomponentsandcomplexsystems.Thismakesitparticularlyimportantthatthestructuredapproachgivenfortheprovisionofdiagnostictestingfacilitiesisusedforawiderangeoftasks.Referenceismadeinthissectiontoconditionmonitoring.Thisisafacilitywhichcloselyrelatestotheconceptscoveredinthisguideondiagnostictesting,andcannot,andshouldnot,bedissociatedfromit.However,itisnottheintentionthatfullcoverageofconditionmonitoringshouldbepartofthisstandard.
