【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardestablishesamethodofdesignationforchoppedstrandandcontinuousfilamentmatsmadefromtextileglassstrands,whichmaybeusedasthebasisforspecifications.Thisdesignationsystemisforchoppedstrandandcontinuousfilamentmatsusedforthereinforcementofplasticsandhydraulicmatrices.Itdoesnotapplytomatsmadefromstaplefibres,nortomechanicalnorstitchedbondedmaterialsnortoveils.Itisnotintendedtoimplythatmatshavingthesamedesignationgivenecessarilythesameperformance.Noristhedesignationsystemintendedtocoverallthecharacteristicsofmats.Thisstandarddoesnotgiveengineeringdata,performancedataordatawhichmayberequiredtospecifychoppedstrandandcontinuousfilamentmatsforaparticularapplicationormethodofprocessing.IfsuchadditionalpropertiesarerequiredtheyshallbedeterminedinaccordancewiththetestmethodsspecifiedinEN14118-2.
