【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsforflexiblenon-thrustresistantsocket-and-spigotjointswithelastomericsealingelementsforburiedandabovegroundglass-reinforcedthermosettingplastics(GRP)pipelineapplications.Itcoversmethodsoftestfortheleaktightnessandresistancetodamageofthejointonly,whensubjecttospecifiedcombinationsoflongitudinalextension(draw),angularmovement(angulardeflection),compression(misalignment)perpendiculartothepipeaxisandinternalpressure.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletojointsforeitherpressureornon-pressureapplications.NOTEThejointstestedinaccordancewiththisEuropeanStandardaresubjectedtoconditionswhichmeasuretheirabilitytofunctionandtherebyprovethedesignofthejoint,especiallyfortypetestpurposes.Thesetestproceduresareapplicabletojointsforpipesandfittingsofallnominalsizes.Thetestsaresuitablefortheevaluationofjointsintendedforapplicationsinwhichtheliquidsareconveyedattemperaturesspecifiedinthereferringstandards.
