【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesrequirements,testmethods,performancecriteria,andmanufacturer'sinstructionsforsmokealarmsthatoperateusingscatteredlight,transmittedlightorionization,intendedforhouseholdorsimilarresidentialapplication.Thisdocumentincludesadditionalrequirementsforsmokealarms,whicharealsosuitableforuseinleisureaccommodationvehicles.Forthetestingofothertypesofsmokealarms,orsmokealarmsworkingondifferentprinciples,thisdocumentshouldonlybeusedforguidance.Smokealarmswithspecialfeatures,suchasradiointerlinkingorspecialcharacteristicsanddevelopedforspecificrisks,arenotcoveredbythisdocument.Thisdocumentallows,althoughitdoesnotrequire,theinclusionwithinthesmokealarmoffacilitiesforinterconnectionwithothersimilarsmokealarmsand/oraccessories,andforalarmsilencing.Wheresuchfacilitiesareincluded,thisdocumentspecifiesapplicablerequirements.Thisdocumentdoesnotcoverdevicesintendedforincorporationinsystemsusingseparatecontrolandindicatingequipment.NOTECertaintypesofsmokealarmscontainradioactivematerials.Thenationalrequirementsforradiationprotectiondifferfromcountrytocountryandtheyarenotspecifiedinthisdocument.Suchsmokealarmsshould,however,complywiththeapplicablenationalrequirements.
